Crust
2/3 cup corn meal
1/3 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c butter, melted
1/4 c boiling water
Filling
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c milk
1 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp salt
1 7 oz. can chopped green chiles, drained (I could only find 2 4-oz. cans of diced green chiles, and it was pretty good, too)

Two complexes I seem to have:
1) Thinking I'm incredibly boring, so when someone asks me what's new I feel I have to justify my existence.
2) Fearing that if I give a compliment to someone it will sound forced and ingenuine, so much so that when the words escape my mouth they do indeed sound forced and ingenuine, when they are not. -

So this is the second time it's happened:
My engagement ring is a polyhedron. I don't know what kind, except the top of it has four sides and the middle has eight, and the bottom has four again, so it makes a weird pyramid-y shape with a big cavity underneath it. I'm in Denver for a work conference. I came here recovering from a virus: congestion, blocked ears, sore throat, cough, etc etc.
Now I have pink eye.
