It's not like he's ever looked into it, but he's pretty certain that the PinPoint makes small adjustments for you when you enter the coordinates. Helena has been sitting against the front wall of the theatre for almost an hour, because she told her mother she had to be there considerably earlier than the actual arranged time. This is partly being thoughtful, and partly self preservation.

She's listening to Damien Rice on a pair of headphones which look considerably less ridiculous than they would if her hydro-aerator (HAHAHAHH YAY) wasn't covered by the collar of her blouse.

It's possible she's wearing eyeliner. And that said blouse is like the 87th one she tried on. Maybe.

This makes John check his watch again to see if he's late but he's not (except maybe according to Lobster's standards but he's not here ............ probably) so he goes to sit beside her. Instead of alerting her to his presence in a more helpful manner, for instance. He leans in a little to try and catch anything of what's playing through her headphones.

AHH! Unexpected John-appearance! Well, not exactly unexpected, because she did know he was coming and all, but still.

So there is a brief moment of flailery before she grins and takes the headphones off. "Hi."

John returns the grin. "Hey."

Since he does not fight off this liberal application of Damien Rice to his auditory units, it must be the correct move. He moves it partly off one ear, however, so that conversing is still possible.

Some of the lyrics make him smirk a little but he is listening, and does not look like he feels the urgent need to fling the headphones off.

"That'd depress me." If, he presumably means, he weren't sitting against a wall out under the sun on a date with Helena.
