It was a simple note, the handwriting obviously carefully done as if afraid of revealing anything that way.

I am assuming you are alive and well. I haven't heard from Bobby since that fiasco with my alternate and I hope you're both all right. Not that I think you will worry either way but I felt you should know as my friend. I'm pregnant, due in March.
