Thanks to the lovely netter_buggy: a line!

Surely there were worse things than cleaning up the results of a failed experiment, but at the moment Todd couldn't think of any.

Object challenge: turkey

Stories due Wednesday, November 25. Rules are here.

Just a thought...Usually any names are removed from these things. So like this:

Surely there were worse things than cleaning up the results of a failed experiment, but at the moment ______ couldn't think of any.

Then people can use their own characters and names?

There have been lines that included names. I remember at least one occasion where I used a prompt that included one, possibly more. It makes it more of a challenge. I'm curious to know what others think for the future, but since this line is already a day late, I'm disinclined to change it.

Ok. I'm not participating anyway (it's NaNoWriMo and all), but it was just a thought. I think I'm generally disinclined to do ones that include character names as I'm usually trying to flesh out details of characters already in my mind.

I'm going to second this. 99.9% of the time I'm going to be writing fanfic for something that's already got it's own characters with names.

I have a few new lines. If no one suggests anything don't whine about the ones I propose that Alto chooses. :P

"If I read another Dr. Seuss book I'm going to scream."

For a bachelor pad the carpet was in remarkably good condition.

The urge to hit her was almost overwhelming when she said, "_______."

"Who knew breaking up with him/her would be as simple as that!"

ha ha! here's one for the holiday!

Mary didn't understand what her son was getting at when speaking about his wife until his eldest daughter stated quite clearly, "Dad's all butt-hurt because mom makes more than him."

Any lines I suggest are open to editing or altering, Alto.

Oh jeez, it's Wednesday again! I guess I should post a line, huh?

I can't say I've ever heard "butt-hurt" before, but maybe I'm just out of touch (possible--grad school is over but I still hardly ever turn the TV on, except for Castle on Mondays and what's left of Eastwick and Dollhouse!). I shall go and post it! :)

I think I may also PM you with a few thoughts...or do I still have your email address? ::runs to look::
