Although I don't quite understand why Dan was blamed for the accident that occurred -- it was a mechanical fault in Nick's car, right? (Excuse my lame-ass attempt at sounding technically sophisticated.) "I fixed my tie, grabbed the papers, and headed for the door." Dramatic, like I said. The last line is great, too. There are many more, but you get the idea.
Anyway, please exercise the full extent of your skill this semester. I would wish you good fortune, but it seems foolish to offer my hope for your good luck when instead I could encourage you to grab your life by the horns and kick its ass on your own terms. As the Ronin would say: 人点度!
