Sure. I would do that if it weren't for just two minor drawbacks:

1 - I'd like to get my books BEFORE the final exam.
2 - I won't have the money until the 18th, so even if I got them on the 19th I would still have catching up to do.

I guess that's only one drawback. The drawback is time. I don't have the time (or money) to go searching online for something cheaper. If I order from Amazon, it will either get here a month later or I will pay twice as much in shipping. Sorry but that kind of thinking only works if you have the resources to purchase books in late July or early August.

Well, I got my Romantic Music History book by ordering Sept 1st and it was here Sept 6th. Granted, that was a new copy direct from Amazon. The anthology I ordered off the marketplace isn't here yet, but I expect it will be soon.

Of course, at Acadia, you only have like a week's worth of notice anyway, so you can't order that far ahead of time :P

But, if you don't have any money anyway, aren't you just screwed?

Early in February 2007, I bought a sign language (level 2) book from Amazon. It finally got to me around April 10, 2007. They aren't reliable enough to depend upon.

However, I am in Toronto. There is another option that you didn't even think about.
