We went to an arts and crafts store last Sunday; Cath was getting annoyed by the fact that all her art is digital. So as we were walking down the aisles of A.C. Moore, she was just randomly grabbing stuff off the shelves. Oils, watercolors, sculpey... (almost acryllics, but we decided otherwise). Squeeage for real media art. ^____^

Shiehan's had to suffer through me ranting about OMFG L WAS THE BEST CHARACTER AND THEY KILLED HIM OFF AND THE ENTIRE MANGA WENT DOWNHILL AFTER THAT GAAAAH all the time... ^^;;; N and M are just plain annoying. GONK.

L's death was too anticlimactic. After spending, what, the good part of 50 some chapters building up the tension, L makes The Connection and just keels over in his chair? There goes my expectations for an ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.
Why did Remu kill L anyway? She could have done it any time, shinigami powers and all, so... BuH?

Hee, yeah. We've practically got an internet cafe going on in our classroom these days. So freaking hwen man...
I thought it was pretty powerful myself... though might be mostly because OMFG L'S DEAD WAAAAAAAAH *CRYCRYCRYeleventyone* But d00d, the way Light reacts, gah. Such... an evil bastard, I swear.
L was about to make the connection between Misa and Kira 2, IIRC. Rem was emotionally tied to Misa, and didn't want L to blow her cover.

d00d, deathnote was so awesome in the beginning; light and L mindgames = teh_win! Unfortunately... L's keeled over, and Light's become such an ASShole. The author really isn't fair to her characters, man.
Random: someone called the first arc "L's arc". I was like "GONKGONKGOOONK." T___T
