Look! A ship!
Soooo... I have recently gotten into a game called Battleships Forever.
There isn't actually any real gameplay, though; it exists, but what most people spend time doing is making various ships. And I really like graphic design, so I was immediately roped in.
I make ships pretty much by just sitting down and starting to build up from the core (the center blue dot). I really ought to start planning out the ships before I build them, but... that hasn't happened yet. Anyway, this one I didn't really see coming; I'd intended for it to be a more streamlined ship, but then I gave it a pirate core, and to hold with a more pirate-y theme I started making it look more menacing, and it ended up looking kind of like a spider.

So now I call it Anansi. I really like it, too :D
I've actually really missed designing things. I was really into web design when I was taking a class on it, but most of my html skills have deteriorated (though I still edit the source in my LJ posts :D) and the program I used in the older computers has gone away. Now I'm stuck with Microsoft Publisher, which is horrible for web design; I can't figure it out at all and it won't let me edit the source. Which means that any websites I were to design would have to be written from scratch html code, which just takes way too long, which means that everyone who has approached me asking to have websites designed will never actually get them, meaning that I will not get paid.

Anyway... That's my mad rambling. I'm back to writing some more, too; I'm working on some things for watsons_woes as we speak (or type, or read, or whatever). Hopefully I will have some things up in a little while :)
