Going back through the House of Fame today, as I probably will every day until Tuesday so that I don't fail this quiz.  I've been through a few times now (although this is the first time I'm transcribing) and every time this series of lines keeps jumping out at me and making me laugh.  They make perfect sense in Middle English, but when read with

Oh, I must reread Canterbury Tales...and oh yes, he did have quite a sense of humour...rather a self-deprecating sense of humour...given the Tale of Sir Topas...*snickers*
