I know it's late but I NEED TO FREAK OUT TO SOMEONE

So, as some of you may know, I like to sing.  And I'm in my school's chorale.  And we haven't been as on the ball this year as we have in past years, so some of the pieces with solos only had those solos assigned on Monday, with our concert looming on December fourth.

So, what you do, is you memorize the part, and then you don't look at the note.

If you can't see it, it can't hurt you.

That is a fact.

YES! DONE. The note will never get me again. (my chorale director might, though. Eh, I can probably outrun him.)

Haha! Probably.

Also, in my experience nerves mean loosening up, which means ease of getting to higher notes. :-)

Holy crap. O_O

I'm a musician myself (have played the piano for eighteen years), and both love music and love to sing - but I have an unfortunately puny eight-note range.

Jealousy. I haz it. You go girl. ^_^

Oh don't be too jealous. I have a truly pitiful low range, which is where all the notes that actually sound good are. Also - Piano for eighteen years? THAT's incredible. (I took lessons for about six months until my teacher spontaneously quit to become a clown. I am not making this up.) You must be really talented and dedicated to stick with it like that. Go you!
