My favorite DC crossdressing canon is still this series of daily comics from 1946, in which Batman really has no choice but to force Robin to dress up as Marie Antoinette, even though Robin would rather be the Little Red Riding Hood to his Big Bad Wolf.

The Dick Greyson bout of crossdressing, though, is just...very, very disturbing. I love how it's the first thing that comes to Batman's mind. Because of course if you need a date the first thing that occurs to you is to dress up your teenaged ward as Marie Antoinette. I'd've done the same.
I think anyone would, really.
