Well, indeed it is. But you see, I try to adapt myself to local customs as much as possible. So when I'm writing to an American, I'll spell it "jail", so he'll understand. Because we of the Old Wolf Brotherhood spell it "Ɣƣdžɰɳʨ", and we prize clear communication above all.
This makes me wonder how much the truck driver liked his job.
He might not like it much, so might care less about what happens to his truck and goods, thinking that if he doesn't do a good job, he'll be fired and will have to find another job. (sometimes it's easier to make somebody fire you than it is to quit yourself. Either that or he wanted the unemployment insurance...)
Something I only noticed after watching a couple of times is that the level crossing's boom gate didn't lower until AFTER the truck had passed, and that the train was already in very close proximity to the crossing. Not much warning.
Nevertheless, warning lights, bells, boom gate or not, you should never enter any intersection which isn't clear ahead, especially one for trains :o

(Oh I shouldn't laugh though :( )
Out of curiosity Old Wolf, you just spelled gaol the same way we Aussies and the Brits spell it. Isn't the American spelling "Jail"?

If only the video showed the truck driver's face.
