While I'm not a Hotch/Gideon shipper by a long shot, what struck me about this story is the treatment of Gideon's PTSD. Very real. Visceral. Haunting.

The vets reaching out to him. Sheila and Bethany... just wonderfully beautiful in a very hard-breaking way. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. The relationship between Hotch and Gideon isn't exactly romantic, but I thought I should mark it as there, since it is. I hope to explore their relationship more in the coming months as I write more of this universe.

I'm glad I didn't go overboard with Gideon's PTSD.

I agree with kuriadalmatia on every word. The treatment of his PSTD is incredibly real, and while I'm not a Hotch/Gideon shipper; I don't ship Gideon with any of the team, it's still beautiful and well written and I look forward to more from you.

Thank you for your comments! I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been more done with Gideon's PTSD in the fandom, but then again, I've been out of it for the most part for a good two years, so maybe there has been.

I'm looking forward to writing more in this universe!
