Passion comes and goes (And with this weather, it takes a vacation somewhere tropical), but the trick, if you want to call it that, is just to realize that passion is just you putting your essence into something, and that something can be as simple as a really good dinner, or taking a drive for no reason.
I would give you the whole existentialist tirade, but I'm sure you have heard it before. Life really has no meaning until you give it one, and unfortunately they don't just hand out meaning to everyone who comes along. For me, I just think of it as half of the fun; going out there in the face of overwhelming nausea and de-realization and making up your own story as you go in spite of its meaninglessness.
Its very easy to fill your life with the depersonalized take on life, but that is the very problem. It is too easy. If you are in bed, why would you want to go out there? In the end, people do reflect what they (consciously or unconsciously) read off of you, and if all they get is void, they tend to perpetuate the cycle by
