Try using peanut butter for bait on traps (per Westling's advice) because its harder to run off with than cheese.

my mom's using cream cheese... and we've got these traps that are like the kind where it's a little container and the mouse has to go inside and then the door shuts and something kills it...so you don't have to see the dead mouse and/or touch it.
