Honey I'm home

I'm finally back of my holidays. Two weeks sailing round the Atlantic Ocean on a luxurious cruise ship was just heaven. There really is no other holiday like it and I defy anyone to try it and not like it. It's the only holiday I've had where I genuinely didn't want to come home. Land based holidays are so mediocre when you've tried cruising, being ( Read more... )

Indeed! :) We need some rain though, it's so hot here at the moment. I've had the fan on every night in bed and I've got a stiff neck from it.

Ahhh, I love the last picture!! You look great, you've obviously benefitted from the relaxation! I've never been on a cruise, but always thought it'd be interesting! What's the longest amount of time spent on the boat? What happens if you're late coming back to the boat on your days out, do they leave you??

Yeah it was great I loved it. I was at sea for 2 full days on the way from Southampton to San Miguel, but you never get bored cos there is honesly shit loads to do. It's not like a ferry either where the slightest wave makes you sea sick. You only realise you are actually moving when you are outside on deck and see the sea.
As for going out, there are organised trips which obviously get you back in time for the ship setting sail again. If you are late though I'm afraid it is a fact of see you at the next port, but god knows how you're gonna get there! haha. They have a timetable as to how much time they're allocated in port and obviously have to come and go accordingly. You do get some stupid people who leave it with five mins to spare!
I wanna go again, I love it.
