Yesterday at 10:30, I got a call from Miles, and I could tell by his voice that it was something serious. He told me that our friend Greg Durham had killed himself earlier that afternoon. I was in total shock and disbelief, as was Miles; Greg was the last person you would expect to do this- he was very well liked by everyone, I can't think of

Cowardly? Let me hand you a shotgun and tell you to put it in your mouth and pull the trigger. I hardly believe you would have the guts to do it. Cowardly is not a word I would choose to describe it. Desperate is the word.

Yeah, obviously I didn't know him that well, but the fact that he had so much going for him, seemingly, and that there were no hints as to why he'd do something like that, is sad to me. And the fact that he saw no other way of getting out of whatever he may have been dealing with.
