I'm watching LOVE & BASKETBALL. I've seen it about a hundred times.

STIING @ SHOCK today at secen o'clock..I'm going to get there like 2 hours early to talk to the players and stuff. This is a must win.

So a few days ago, the Shock play the WORST team in the WNBA. Charlotte, who was 3-22. WE LOST! In double overtime, because Cheryl Ford missed 2 freethrows. The freethrows she made were with .2 seconds left on the clock before over time. All she had to do was make ONE and we'd have won the game. But, no, we lost.

Well, the Shock lost to Houston. They were down by 12 at the half, then caught up like usual so they were ahead by six. Then they blew it and let Houston get ahead in the last 20 seconds by one point. Deanna Nolan had a chance to take the lead but missed a half-a-foot jumper/layup ( Read more... )

It's true: Whenever the Shock win, the Tigers lose. They were up 3-0, then the Athletics hit a grand slam. Things got worse from there. Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez got ejected from the game, because he was arguing with the umpire. He was REALLY arguing with him, though, chest to chest, as the newspapers called it.
