I believe I'm echoing emmyangua from a couple of cycles ago when I say that it's vaguely embarrassing to place in one's own challenge: it's why I didn't enter my own challenge when I issued it back in the summer (i.e. no risk of it happening); however, this time around, I had already missed one round for this cycle, and I only let myself miss one per cycle even though mods are for some reason exempt from that rule. But, as you clearly enjoyed it, thank you <3
The team rankings did not actually change in any way from last round to this one.
I liked yours. :-) Interesting take on Molly as well as on the boys. But less angst - maybe I interpreted the ending wrongly? I thought John had somehow died and that was why Sherlock kept the jumper? Or had he really just left?
I don't remember all the fics I voted for, but irisbleufic's was one of them!
Way to go, everyone!
Also, de-anoning for 20, Mycroft loses out on Sherlock's childhood.
It's too bad I wasn't able to make it as long as it wanted itself to go, because one thing I left out was that the reason Sherlock was so obstinate about letting Mycroft back in was he deleted him from his hard drive after a few years of absence.
I could definitely imagine that of a young Mycroft, if only because he wouldn't wait until he was old. From a young age, I figured he probably knew what he wanted. :)
