i do not know whether to just shake my head and back away slowly or wonder if there is a laser pointer unicorn thing coming up.

of course, you could make a sort of jackelope-type animal out of a rodent with some sort of horn on its head, with a laser pointer inside... I think I'll suggest that to her ;)
