Ok. so you know all of those emotions people get when they are off a college? the ones like missing people, missing places, missing the past, the feeling of knowing things are moving on without you back home, missing the life you once lead, missing the things you used to do, wishing you could be as important here as you were in high school,

i know i'm not "home" or your "best friend" or your "old life"....
but i do live in austin which is like 20 minutes away and i do always have open arms...
feel free to drop in one weekend and hang out.
it'll feel almost a little like old times, and then we can appreciate the new times. : )

thats not the most fun feeling kiddo... but i can tell you one thing, my life will never "move on" from you. you are too much of a part of me, my past, my present, and my future, for me to ever not have you in it. i know we all feel that way. michael mcgee you couldnt possible have a group of friends in which you were more loved

i hate when life decides to be hard and it usually happens all at once. but know that i love you so much- we all do, and no matter what happens or where we go, there will always be that love and that connection. growing up doesn't mean growing apart or leaving things behind. sometimes i'm lonely too, so whenever you are, you should give me a ring and we can ponder life's mysteries together :). stay true to who you are and continue growing into the awesome man that God has made you to be.
