Why is it that when i try i get in trouble, but if i just coast then no one gets mad and nothing bad seems to happen?

Personally, I think some find it easier, and certainly more comfortable, to coast. It isn't a matter of others being glad or mad when we coast thought life/situations/ect. -- people just don't seem to care. Why? Because we ourselves don't care (comparative to trying). Nothing bad seems to happen because we don't risk our efforts. We play life as if it's a game... as if we can't lose what we don't put in the middle. Sadly, we can lose. We do miss out.
