Wow, having to go a few days without LJ was hard!

To make up for it, here are ( some silly quizzes. )

The Jazz Funeral *does* sound cool. I wonder if there are any other funerary services planning to mourn the coming four years.

Hi hun!

I'm sorry I haven't written back yet. I've been working nonstop and my class starts up again in 2 weeks so I've been going insane each day and it's been hard to find time to do anything BUT work, eat and sleep. I promise, I'll get one out to you this week. I'm off tomorrow for the holiday so I'll definately start it then. Hope you understand!!!

I'm not a tea fan either, but I bookmarked your memes to stuff my LJ another day. :) Thanks! Those are good ones. :D

And I'm downloading one of the songs as recommended. I'm always up for good lefty political songs. Thanks for the link.

As for being disabled, shouldn't the protests be accomodating? I know from my experience with liberal activism that some groups are stupidly bad about being disabled-inclusive (omg don't start me on the arguments I had about making the group I worked for have a properly accessible website), but most of the larger ones have a clue or three about accessibility. I'd say if you want to go to a protest, contact one of the bigger, national groups behind one and ask what facilities are available.

I can't stand for very long, and I don't like going anywhere I can't get comfortable if I need to take a painkiller. Plus, it's cold out which makes me hurt more.

Ah, I understand. Still, if you're really keen on it, I'm sure some of the bigger groups could use indoor, seated volunteers for various parts of their efforts. They always want people to do phonebanking, which I personally loathe (I don't like spam calls at home so I can't do it to someone else), but they also frequently need computer help and such.

Just a thought, since you said you wanted to participate. :)

Those are excellent ideas! I intend to look into it.
