during chem practical on tuesday, i did the cleverest thing ever.
re-enacted scene:
- class was supposed to test for amount of gas evolved from reaction between solid YYY and acid A using a burette.
-seline fills the burette with XXX solution before meticulously weighing YYY powder/white stuff into conical flask.
-she overshot.
- never mind, seline tries again, this time painstakingly weighing YYY super accurately into the conical flask.
- pours acid A super carefully into measuring cylinder.
- pours acid A into solid YYY before quickly stoppering the conical flask to collect gas.
- to her horror, she had forgotten to link the conical flask to the burette to check for gas evolved and the flask was nowhere near her burette.
- so seline freezes in midair after realizing her folly.
- annabel turns around and after witnessing the entire tiny episode, shapes her mouth into an "O" and yelped in disbelief.
- half the class turns around, and seline spotted miss sharon tan shaking her head in despair. apparently seline had not been listening in class again.
- in the end, the wasted gas and the surrounding air lived happily ever after, leaving seline to rue her own loss.

chem test today was... *NIEH NIEH* (hehe i'm gonna earn another slap from hui thong for saying this again :D). not say super good, but at least i don't think it'll bring another "U" to my overflowing collection. since according to hui thong, the amount of stuff i wrote on my paper this time was like 3 times more than the largely blank paper i submitted last term :D
gee thanks mayqi! for teaching me super patiently even though i don't know a shit about chemical bonding and atomic structure at first. :D HAHA if i were her, i'd have 吐血ed already. xP
chinese test on the contrary, was horrendous. half the time was spent on nudging (or receiving nudges from) hui thong and zack for answers to questions i was completely clueless about. i never knew JC H1 chinese was going to be so tough. ;_; there goes my A. :/

ohhkay i've decided to be a good kid and submit my 4th PI draft by monday. wah lau PW sucks lah, it leaves you no time for anything else. how i envy those in poly who dont have to do PW! *greeeen*
anyway on the interact front we've realised that running for exco is a super serious issue. so much so that the st pats guys, who were originally damn enthu, are all dropping out of it. apparently we have to do countless proposals and stuff (omg those we did on t shirt and especially the carnival thing were kinda uh tough already). ah oh wells, i'll see how it turns out first.

oh gosh i need horror movie marathon therapy desperately (ma thong!! we need to find fellow horror buddies!! ) as well as cycling therapy ( steph! ashlyn! hui thong! what happened to cycling for NYAA/for fun LOL. we should learn guitar/drums for the skills thing!) (zijin hilary bella!! cycle??) OR exploring therapy (haha!) OR K BOX (abalone shit!! i want to K!!! chinese songs! ) aaargggh and stupid stef hsu owes me my gift from years ago. :D:D

i realised my journal posts are getting super segregated and 一大团乱！if it was a GP essay, i'd have failed miserably. ;_; i think i should switch back to blogger!
