When I talked to you in the Community Thrift Store, I sort of didn't believe you were going to Costa Rica. I would be scared. Other countries scare me. I guess that's what living in the U.S. does to you.

Hey Wes.

Don't be scared, the rest of the world is safer than you think. When I saw you in Community Thrift I had just spent 4 months traveling through Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. Mexico actually has LESS violent crime than America. Basically, you can usually count on people being somewhat decent. I would say most of Costa Rica is much safer than most of the United States.
