The Passion of the Hobo

Hey, so glad you're back travelling, I guess it's kinda pathetic but I really look forward to reading your journals, ever thought of publishing it? It's just the sort of thing that would sell in North American, I guess that's slightly ironic and a little bit sad, but preppie kids all over North America love this stuff...anyways, hope you escaped the hippies for awhile!

Hey thanks.

I would love to publish my journals (or anything for that matter). Even though I consider this a pretty rough draft, even if I polished it up to my very best, I'd still have strong doubts about whether it'd be publish worthy. My story is not unique, thousands of people are traveling all over the world, many of them doing it and writing about it much better than me. But who knows, maybe there's hope.

If you love reading about it though, I would suggest doing it at your earliest opportunity. It's not as hard or as expensive as you might think.

How do you upload photos, by the way?

Maybe the fact that you're not a *writer* is what makes your journal different, unpretentious perhaps. I've been thinking about doing some traveling lately and starting to save up but right now it's just a pipe dream. Any suggestions on where a first-time (18 year old female) traveller should go?
About the photo uploads, they are easy as long as you already have the image (reasonably sized otherwise it'll take up the whole page) stored on your comp. I use a site called weblogimages.com but there are others out there too. Weblogimages uses a system not unlike a hotmail account: free, decent storage space and fairly user friendly. Anyways, it'd be great to see some pics from your trips!
