And hilarity continued to ensue...

Here I am! Dead tired, though not (as some have suspected, owing to my long absence from the autojournalistic realm) dead in the strict sense, as an elephant might be dead were one to drop it from a helicopter hundreds of feet above the forest. It is, however, only the most excellent sort of tired, born of the most excellent sort of night. Against ( Read more... )

My phone's dead and I'm at the library, missing you. I fell asleep on my books, isn't that adorable? I've been exhausted all day, but the good kind. I'm trying not to think about how much money we spent, haha. I miss you so much and I want to call, but like I said, dead phone. I'm getting no work done here and keep falling asleep so I think I'm gonna just grab a smoothie from the GSU before walking home (it feels like such a lonnnng walk ... even though it's only 15 minutes I'm having trouble making myself get up to do it ...) Anyway, love you.
Your description of Mitch's awesomeness reminded me of Tycho's writing, meaning that it turned me on. Well, in a really dorky way.

Wooo, Tycho. Pretty hooo-oooot! (That's "hoot," not "hot.")

I was wondering where you were! Silly phone. Apparently it doesn't care that I miss you. Jeez.

Also, I want a smoothie. Get me one, and put it in a bag. I will drink it next time.

Next time, you'll probably be here in Boston, and I promise that we can go back to the GSU (Good Shit Union) and I'll buy you one, again. I had forgotten how crazy you got about those smoothies last time.

Mmmm. Well, they're so smooth!

Hey, while you're there, answer me this! I forgot to tell you the one element of the nicer, slightly farther, marginally cheaper Prague apartment - it has a kitchen. Do you care? That could be helpful in not spending much food money, so if that's important to you, we can switch to that one. If you still prefer being directly above that little market, then I'll fax the form to our original choice tomorrow.

Do you actually speak the same way you write? Because I think that would be all sorts of amazing. Actually, you could step right out of an Elizabeth Peters novel. Love it.

I do to varying degrees, yes. At times I am like, "whut whut, biatch," whereas at other junctures I will formulate a more refined discourse. People have noted that my speech pattern resembles that of a Brit, in which I take some degree of pride. I'm glad it's enjoyable!

Well, I stumbled by from nyu & happened to read this entry.

Absolutely hilarious. If you ever write a book -- let me know, I'll buy it.

That's all, just wanted to let you know you brightened my day.

Well, thanks! I do appreciate both stumbling and enjoyment.

As it happens, I am writing a novel. I imagine both this journal and perhaps the NYU community will hear of it, should it ever go anywhere.
