I caught a conservative news show host ranting about the hidden liberal messages in that movie. Do you know what he was going off about?

Yeah, I'd heard some snippet about 'clearly the penguins are gay'... this, by the way, is bullshit.

There is a sense in the movie that sticking with the old ways of doing things may not work anymore... but gee, that's a REAL new concept for any coming-of-age plot, as this is. Oye.

It's a wonderful movie. I cried like a baby.

Oh, and the animation is superb, Robin Williams is terrific, and the messages, while clearly there, are well supported by plot.
