201. It was the day of the dead, I tried not to lose my head.

Groucho glasses? Really Admiral? Why the hell would you need a pair of those things? They're just glasses with a funny nose and mustache on them. They really can't have any value to fixing the Barge. I'm starting to think he's playing silly buggers with us, and this is just like when you send a husband to boil water when someone was giving birth ( Read more... )

Mister Holmes isn't responding to me, and I can't find him.

[Vasilia. One day you will respond to Martha and not be a ball of neuroses and complaints. Today is not that day.]

How long has it been since you've heard from him? Was it right before this happened?

We aren't often in contact but I had tried to contact him for port and had no response.

It's possible that he's left. I haven't received a call about him in a coma. Are you with anyone?

[Martha turned and looked at her inmate for a moment, and then grinned and spoke.]

They're fake glasses. Round ones that have a large rubber nose and mustache attached to them.

[Arya made a face up at her, confused.] What are those going to do?

[All Martha could do was shrug, and she looked around for a moment.]

I've no idea, but they're what the Admiral wants, so we're going to find them.

We're safe.

Who are the wardens of those involved?

Rex Lewis, so Capa I think. And if there's Rex there's probably Ana. She doesn't have a warden since Barty. I don't know of anyone else though, at least not that I've read.

If I can find Miss Lewis, I'll take charge of her. I'm familiar with the sorts of things someone with her training might try. And her skills might be useful in acquiring this necklace the Admiral wants.

I think that sounds like a good idea if you can find her. I expect life is going to be difficult for Rex and Ana and Capa for the next few weeks.

People aren't going to take this well.

We could just stay. It wouldn't be that bad.

I'd prefer not to be dead. I want to go home.

There's something tremendously ironic about missing out on the last few days of the death toll due to being technically dead. Are you alright?

Hopefully it won't mean we are all death tolling when we get home. I'm fine, just overwhelmed with this place.

You alright?

I'm finding it extremely difficult to believe a green unicycle is going to help us get off the ground again. Other than that, fine.

[Not fine. Going through a bit of an 'oh so THIS is what it was like for Owen' phase.]

I expect he's sending us for things so we don't sit and stew and be worried and angry about this.

[Martha doesn't think you're okay, Tosh. But she's deciding how to go about saying that.]

Do you want some help? Perhaps there's a joke shop about.
