In addition, I have been tooling around on the web seeing what people are expecting for this next book, and there is this large debate going on about who the Half Blood Prince is. ( Read more... )

Maybe it's Neville's Toad theemilys July 12 2005, 18:15:29 UTC
Neville was my personal favorite too, but it seems odd that with the bits of backstory about his family, this would turn out to be the case. It just seems a little more complicated than necessary in an already intricate saga.

I don't know. Rowling has this knack for ignoring what she has written before and just making up some asinine explanation of why it is now this way. She has a continuity problem at times.

Besides, Hermonie can kiss Trevor and turn him into a prince.

I've always been of the opinion that the real big bad is actually Dumbledore. I think he's up to some kinda big evil.

That's cuz it will blindside you. Every time he's gone "doing something to stop Voldemort," maybe he's actually setting something big up. All we have on what he does outside of Harry's view is his word.

Well, I would definitely give more credence to that belief than some of the crap I've read online. Do you know people actually believe Dumbledore is Ron and Hermonie's son who has traveled back in time to help Harry?
