I suppose it can't be helped the way you feel on a base Angel/Demon level, as it seems the two 'species' aren't really meant to get along genetically. You know Deirdre much better than you know Josie, and I'm sure that soon your unease with Josie will disappear as well :)

By all recent accounts, Josie is a good woman. Nevertheless, I also cannot help wariness rearing its head deep inside me sometimes, just at her presence. The natural response in anyone sensitive, not just us, is to fear, and steer clear of demons. In many cases, it is the smart thing to do, after all. I don't think you're being mean or judgemental. The fact that you wrote this proves that you don't want to be that way to Josie. And you won't be. I know you, Nancy, and I know you to be an absolutely kind and loving person. You will give Josie her due, and I believe you will be good friends. The harmony of our house will be preserved. Everything will be okay.
