Darling was definitely the word for it. Nanaya simply couldn't find a better word to describe it. Of course, not that it was any of his business. His business in the matter extended as far as the people he watched would let him go. He had left his own Master for a little scouting action. Being cooped up in an apartment wasn't his idea of fun anyway.
He stood neatly balanced on the top of a power line pole bordering the tracks. He lightly leaped down and touched down on the gravel around the tracks, making quite a bit of noise.
"Yo~!" He gave his greeting with his hands buried deep in his pockets.
Patchouli blinked and turned around at the noise, and as soon as she saw the dust his landing kicked up she covered her mouth and nose--no, too late. She started coughing a bit.
