shinjuki71 translated the letter Tsunoda Narumi sent me. It makes me happy to read it.

Thank you so much for your letter from so far way overseas. I get a fair amount of letters from within the country but this is my first experience from a letter overseas, so I was very surprised and pleased.

However, I am pretty bad at English... I slaved away with no result over the translation. The Japanese just don't comprehend English very well, huh? Or maybe it's just me...

That's why, in the end, I gave this letter to a friend with translation software and left it up to the computer. But the software translation is so literal I think many of the nuances don't come across. I feel the limit of machines. I included with this letter a translated version of this letter, but it's probably not perfect English. Please forgive me on this point.

I saw your amazing illustrations. They were of my favorite characters, Rei-chan and Taiki-kun. Thank you very much.

I also looked up your website, but because I'm so bad at English, when so much appeared in English, I cowered in fear... But I was really surprised and the production list. You wrote down roles that I myself had forgotten. It bears the weight of everything I've created.

My voice is often mistaken for a man's. It's a little bit of a problem for me. But if there are people out there who say they like it, I feel very happy. And also, if hearing my voice makes you a little bit happy or healthier, there's nothing that makes me happier than that. It will become encouragement for me to carry on.

I will be doing my best from here on out, so from Rei-chan, Taiki-kun and all the rest, they wish you their heart felt regards.

Tsunoda Narumi
