Finally updating. The term is almost over so now I have a bit of time on my hands. Christmas presents have been sent out, I've given terwashere and witmanfade theirs, I have presents ready to give to shinjuki71, mr_utopia_man, and nanao, and all the family's taken care of. I don't think I'll do cards this year, I but I'll send them to anyone who's sent me one if I haven't already sent them a ( Read more... )

You've been busy--and I've been worried!! I posted an entry in your honor about a week ago, for the lovely gift you'd sent me... and e-mailed you, too, but hadn't heard back from you. I've missed you, honey.
I got you suttin' suttin', too, y'know. ;) I'll be sending it out this week. I really hope you like it (and hell, you don't HAVE it...!)

I'm very glad you enjoyed the gift. That;s the only doujin that showed up of that kind on yahoo Japan for the last year. I didn't even know if it would have many pictures, so you were very lucky. :)

I sent you a card but you don't have to send me one if you're not doing cards this year. I'm okay with that.

I found a place with Moyashimon DDL:
http://www.boontan.net/anime/

Unfortunately, though, I'm not sure if your computer will handle the resolution. Still, if there's an episode you can't find on YouTube, it's something to try.

Those are all the h264 files. I like the Xvids better which I got from here:
http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1116.html

The moyashinmon LJ community also have all the episodes for direct download as well.

XVids are a lot more versatile, it's true... and typically smaller in size. I prefer the h264s, though, since they can support better sound quality as well as optional, soft-coded subtitles (without having to deal with .srts), and they're typically released at higher resolutions, too, making for better video quality (which is actually a lot more noticeable than I had expected it would be). However, when the quality gets too good, my computer starts to stutter....

Yes, that's the main reason I don't play them. Even with the mac they don't play right. If you want an amazingly good picture, you should download the hd h264 off the link I gave you. It's only available for the first episode though.

I also sometimes have problems with the xvids, but I think it may actually be something with the video itself sometimes. Sometimes within a series I have problems with a couple of the episodes and the rest are fine.

Thanks again for the goodies: they were mighty tasty! :D I've picked up a gift for you, which shall be delivered next time I see you.

The GIANTmicrobes are SO DAMN CUTE. I wonder if cuteoverload.com knows of them.
