Today in Chemistry Lab we were using different method for testing the presence of Hydrogen. My favorite part of this lab in the past had always been adding a piece of sodium to water and watch it zip around the container. I think some of my most interesting stories have come from chemistry classes. This is that same lab where NaOH exploded onto all are graded papers when our teacher lit the sodium on fire. I've (accidentally) lit someones lab notebook on fire. mr_utopia_man ate what he though was salt in a lab and the burning taste he got told him it was not. All the ways we got our teacher Hector off topic in high school... Good memories. :)

Ohhh we did the same sorta thing! Not with chemicals, I don't think they *allowed us NEAR them, LOL!*

They don't allow us near the pure sodium, but they do allow us near the concentrated sulfuric acid. *shrugs*
