ME FIRST ME FIRST ME FIRST!!!! *pounces*

After the war, Ambrose's family hires a private detective to find Ambrose. The detective crosses paths with Cain and Cain does some questioning of his own, discovering that Ambrose's family is powerful and very much hated in their part of the O.Z. Cain decides it would be best of Ambrose (now Glitch) isn't found by his family, so goes about spreading rumors that Ambrose had been murdered by the Witch early on in the war.

...that should be enough to start with, right? :D

ASYLUM AU in which
- DG retreats into a fantastical world in her mind
- Dr. Ambrose has a violent split-personality and glitches when he forgets to take his medications
- Wyatt Cain lost his mind after the death of his wife and son and sometimes tries to tear out his own heart
- A shaggy man sits in the corner and rarely talks, but seems very aware of what is going on

In the solemn silence of the surgical ward, the sharp clatter of the long zipper striking the metal tray was deafening. "I'm sorry," rasped Joseph, the young apprentice. His skin was sickeningly pale behind the cloth mask as he stared in horror at the newly empty cavity. With a violently trembling hand, he tore away the mask and backed away, running into a counter. Glitch goes back to Adora and Jeb's cabin by the white elm for some reason, unbeknownst to anybody, and on the way he stops at Ralph and Lorraine's cabin. Unable to remember the elaborate passwords he just waves cheerfully and calls out at them “Blue smoke! Blue smoke!” After a visit he goes on his way, and the concerned couple contact Cain.
