most of your argument centers on that the yankees and red sox both have money and, ergo red sox is no more a team of the people than the yankees. this doesn't make sense on two accounts. if a team is the team of the people, they will have more money...people like team->more fans->more ticket revenue->more money. my red sox fan friends would not say that they are more of a team of the people than any other team's fans would. it's like the converse of, you're not wearing a flag pin, therefore you're unamerican! it doesn't make sense.
second point. pitching a no hitter is a rarity. it happens once like every other season. you can't judge a pitcher based on that. you can judge them on era and ks. judging a pitcher based on whether he's thrown a no hitter is like saying you're a sucky physicist because you haven't won the nobel prize.
I agree with your stance on the patriots.
point is, you can go ahead and hate boston. that's fine. but there are some diehard boston fans who would kill you for what you said.
