so im making my own pasta sauce. well, its giada's, but i can pretend its mine. right now its tomatoes, some sea salt and pepper (might need more), celery, carrots, onions, and garlic. any suggestions on spices to add to the mix?

Can't go wrong with some Oregano is my POV on most things saucy. A little bit of cumin can also be tasty, as I recall. Also, no mushrooms?

not a mushroom fan actually. might try the oregano and the cumin if i can hit the store soon. otherwise, might just leave it as is. might try some simon, maybe some garfunkel (parsely, sage, rosemary, thyme)
