had to reformat - first, cleaned all active infected files from a boot virus scan. Then, deleted all infectable filetypes from my storage HD (exe, dll, com - this virus hides in those files, and virus scanners won't find it. Then when you do open one, it will take off and infect tons of files - it will secretly infect some, take over OS files, make all html files redownload it when opened, and then it will install 3 or 4 other viruses and trojans all over the computer)

So, appears to be clean.

Lydia lives about 40 minutes away, everybody else is either working or gone for the summer.
