i admit it: i was lj-surfing. b/c i was trying to stalk someone. and in the process, i came across this request, so i'm sharing it w/ you all... and i'm posting publically. please put it in on your own weblogs and other random sites. rock out, and *heart* to all my jewish peeps.

you'd have some interesting conversations with some of my friends here. at one point last year, when their class was discussing a text about women's rights, they brought their crocheting in to class, to make a point. (there's a club here that crochets blankets and other things to donate to local charities, etc.) their point was that women, being free and equal, have the right to do anything they choose to do, whether other people think it's inappropriately "manly" or, in this case, too "feminine" for a modern girl who "should" be rebelling against all things stereotypical.

sweet. yeah, i personally don't go for crocheting, but i'm not going to tell anyone else not to do it :) make me a sweater, boy!! ...kidding.
anyway, i'm not 100% certain on this, but i think that what she meant by "google-bombing" is that if you go to google.com and type in jew, the first site on the list (the one w/ the most links or hits, i think) is that hate site. this definition site is currently 3rd on that list. someone correct me if i'm wrong...

just for a lark, ray had me type "catholic conspiracy" into google to see what came up--and third down on the list was a catholic website dedicated to debunking the conspiracy that there was a jewish plot involved with 9/11. go catholics (for once). ;)
