I'm glad to be back home for the week. Thus far, it's been very nice. I drove home Thursday night, saw Let's Go to Prison (God awful movie-we only saw it for Will Arnett AKA Goeb from Arrested Development) with the girls, partied hearty at with Margie and James downtown Chicago (beautiful apartment btw love) on Saturday, and spent the night with

Ahh, he is cute there, but no more ... Heh, I saw him live a few years ago and he's has a long beard, white hair ... a little chubby.

Here's a story: He performed in this fancy theater. In between songs, a little kid screamed out, "You're a big weirdo!"

The place fell silent and Arlo looked really sad.

The mom took the kid out of the theatre.

It was funny until I saw the look on Arlo's face :(

I think that picture up there is from the movie, which was made in 1969 when he was only about 20. I've seen some of the more recent pictures of him...and let's just say he didn't age too well LOL.

Poor Arlo :o( Most people don't take what kids say too seriously, but they're usually the most honest critics. However, I'm sure that the majority of the people there liked him just the way he is.

Yeah, kids are honest critics and musicians are really sensitive. It was a strange moment to witness that I'll never forget.

Arlo really is great though ... he plays in this area every Thanksgiving season. I should make an effort to see him again sometime :)
