It gives me no satisfaction to say I told you so, but my prediction I have been making to anyone who will listen over the last year or so looks to be coming true. The fallout from a decade of dodgy financial vehicles and unsustainable debt is about to hit the fan big time in my humble opinion and Bear Sterns is the most visible sign that the shit is well and truly airborne.

A recession is almost certainly on its way. All the central banks are running round in panic. Time to hunker down in a big hole if you ask me...
