Those who know the Green Man well will probably guess what he thinks about the Great Expenses Scandal at Westminster. He is surprised that the meeja don't seem to have picked up the other issue raised by this story

Weirdly enough, neither the media not the powers that be seem terribly interested in the danger of central databases being deliberately leaked/sold en masse. They both seem focused (ineffectually) on the fact that they can be accidentally leaked en masse.

So while I share your disappointment, I don't really share your surprise.
