So my attempts at getting healthy for the New Year are literally paying off. I haven't dropped weight (that wasn't the issue). I dropped dress sizes, toned up, and have really built up my muscles again. The way I did it is hilarious ( Read more... )

Good for you doll. I was working on this until I broke my ankle. :( Hopefully after I get my release from the doctor (which I don't think will be this Tuesday) I'll be able to get back into it.

Is Almond Milk really good? I hear the Tone It Up Girls talk about it a lot. So from a friend I wanna know if it's really good before I buy it lol.

Such cute baby names. I can't wait to see how beautiful your babies are. :)

For the most part, Almond Milk is definitely better. I think I was sort of allergic to soy products, so I always had issues, but once I moved to the almond milk (Silk makes a pretty decent product) it's been much better and it tastes better than milk in my opinion. Worth a purchase- you won't know till you try it. They also do a chocolate almond milk which is my devilish treat at night. LOL!

I can't wait to see our babies too! I really hope that Marcus and I can do it. We feel so strongly about having kids. It's just scary to think how hard we'll have to work to get them. (And thanks! I love the names. We originally picked Madison, but Marcus' step sister Shanghai'd the name.)

Awesome! I've heard so many people say that if you eat several small meals a day, rather than breakfast, lunch, and dinner that your metabolism will speed up and you'll lose weight so easily. idk if that's true, but that's what I've always done. I swear my stomach is the size of a pea so I fill up very fast, but I'm constantly snacking throughout the day and my metabolism is through the roof. Whether that is mainly genes, idk but I've heard that it does work.

omg, I love the name Zoe! i already have all my baby names picked out, and my sisters stole like half of them XD lol

Agreed- my metabolism has definitely boosted to where I feel like I can eat, but stop when I'm full. It has sort of shrunk my intake amount, but not to the point where I worry. Genes play a huge part of it though- I come from a Irish/Mexican gene pool so I have a curvy figure (if you go back to my dress browsing post, you'll see the curves. LOL ( ... )

hahaha. Lucky, I want some. I only started to get curves the summer after I graduated high school. :P lol. All the women in both my mom's and dad's sides of the family are curvy so idk what happened with me! I think I inherited my dad's insane metabolism, but everyone says it's going to vanish when I turn 30. :(

All the boy names I like have been taken. Either my sisters married a guy with that name, or named their kids a name I like. I have one boy name left and my sister's baby boy is due in one month. She better not take it. It's like they can read my mind ( ... )

I got my curves in the 8th grade, and I only really know that because this guy friend said, "Damn, you have a big booty." I freaked out a little and he then apologized saying it's a good thing- that I have a nice body. It made me so much more self-conscious for the entire year, but when I think back on it, that guy probably made me feel a little more confident entering high school. I think his name was Mario...I should try and remember names better ( ... )
