God, well said, David. It's kind of exactly what I would have wanted to say if I had the words. I've been an Edwards supporter -- I just think he's the candidate who's bothered to back up the politics with substance, and I just really like what he stands for -- but he doesn't seem capable of jumping my gut the way Obama does. Gut jumping is terrifyingly precursory to heartbreak in my experience. But what are we supposed to do, just put it to sleep? Impossible. Dammit. I just hope it works on everybody else too.
