I have not had time, really, to process what happened last night. It was more or less over very quickly -- when Pennsylvania came in, shockingly, at 8:12 for Obama, you knew that was nothing but bad news for McCain. I don't remember exactly when they called Ohio, but you already knew, from the looks of defeat on the faces of Republican strategists

The Gay Marriage Issue isn't over by any means with this vote. I haven't been following all the details of the old and new laws regarding same-sex couples in CA, but I can't imagine this is the end of the road. I'm not sure of the details, but I've been lead to believe the issue is kind of a technicality.

i'll admit i haven't followed it that closely either but i sent a few bucks to the No campaign and figured it was the least I could do. what's the deal with the technicality thing?
