weird. are people supposed to stop eating entirely?

you know, this is gonna come across as insensitive, but... it's one of the largest colleges in the country. as horrifying as this was, there are going to be plenty of people on campus who just aren't all that deeply impacted. it shouldn't be such a shock to anyone that plenty of people were still going about their lives the day of the shooting.

there's also something to be said for shock. i know i have no personal connection to what happened at all, but the hugeness of this didn't really sink into my brain until i woke up this morning.

It's kind of hard to wrap your brain around what happened, particularly if you're not affected by it. I mean, who expects something like that to happen? How do you deal with it? How does the campus move on?
