I renewed my mortgage yesterday. I think I'm fortunate I negotiated this earlier before the credit tightning. I got a nice 3.75% rate for 5 years.

On the sad side, I inquired about my investments. Where I have made X dollars of contributions, I currently have 0.80 X dollars. Like the book says, Don't Panic. I think I better not look again ( Read more... )

I've stopped looking at my statements. I just can't stand it. I'll start looking again 6 months after the recovery starts. Assuming, you know, we recover from this.
