I'm worried I might run put of candy. I bought 180 pieces, giving out 2-3 pieces per person. Last year we saw only 40 some kids (of course I was living at this place at the time). This year, I have a simple costume. I am a victim of a facehugger.

Hmm... I guess it's true then... not as many kids go door-to-door? Co-worker was telling me that they all goto the mall to get free candy.

I didn't figure out a costume till the DAY OF. I was Boudica, Queen of the Iceni tribe (proto-Briton Celts), who led an army in revolt against the Romans in 60 or 61 A.D. Her army lost, and she either committed suicide via poisoning or fell ill and died. At least she died avenging her lost country, wealth, and the chastity of her daughters (who'd been raped by Roman soldiers earlier).

You might have read all of this somewhere, but I thought I'd save you the trouble of wading through the dense Wikipedia article. :-p Most people, when I told them who I was, didn't know who Boudica was! *sigh* Too obscure, I guess.
