Jesus Christ.

I don't like saying that often, as it probably offends someone's religion, but, Holy Fuck, man.

I just watched the Blu-ray of The Police's Buenos Aires concert. Phenomenal! If I wasn't sold on Blu-ray before, I am now. I've seen Blu-ray movies and I can't say any one of them wowed me. This was my first disc to wow me. I can't ( Read more... )

sorry, it won't be me. i was seated way on the side, but i was glad when it turned out that it was the side where i could see Stewart playing his most elaborate kit.

I still love the punk anthem Synchronicity II.
i never knew it was a punk anthem, but it's one of my favourites from their repetoire

After seeing Steward Copeland in concert, I began to appreciate his work more.
my strongest impression from their live show was what a great drummer he is. he's not flashy, but he has a facility with the kit, a freedom in his playing. if i was talking a different type of music, i'd say that his taal transcends theka, but we're not, so i won't. the only comparables i've come across are Manu Katché and Andy Stochansky.
